Condition Criteria

In the world of antiques, collectibles and curiosities it is difficult to find common ground with terms to state the condition of an item.  Here is the condition criteria that NYS CurioBox uses:

Mint condition -- new or like new in pristine condition.

Excellent condition -- for an item's age and use there are no major marks or wear, and if so it will be stated. Wear may be typical of the type of piece.

Very good condition -- a moderate amount of wear and marks. Wear may be typical of the type of piece.

Poor condition -- items are not offered for Internet sale unless one of a set, rare, or it is likely that a customer would want the item for parts.
